Our senior adult services empower seniors in Central Iowa to maintain their independence with a dignified quality of life in their own home for as long as possible. If you or a loved one needs help accessing local resources and services that can help seniors live independently, we are here for you.
“My elderly mother is living independently in her own home. I live on the east coast so when Mom says something that concerns me what can I do? Jewish Family Services are my eyes. They stop by and visit mom and check out my concern(s) and are on the lookout for any other possible issues. Types of Senior Adult Services
Through Jewish Family Services, we are able to provide services for seniors such as:
- Routine transportation to medical appointments and shopping
- Visiting seniors in their homes to check-in and provide company
- Monthly kosher luncheons at area synagogues with speakers or entertainment
- Once-a-month kosher meal delivery service, depending on funding

We also welcome requests, which can be kept confidential, from friends and family members who would like us to check in on seniors that may need support.
