At Engman Camp Shalom, we strive to provide a fun, engaging and safe environment for all campers. ECS is more than just fun and games. It’s a place where campers build new skills, gain confidence, make friends and lasting memories.

About Our Camp

We’re supported by the Jewish Federation of Greater Des Moines and accredited by the American Camp Association. We welcome children of all faiths who are entering K-6th grade. Learn more about us and our program.

On Fridays we celebrate Shabbat. Some weeks, campers get the opportunity to braid their own challah. Yum!
Our GaGa Pit is a big hit during the mornings and just before pick up. Tournaments are a must during the summer weeks.
