At Engman Camp Shalom, we strive to provide a fun, engaging and safe environment for all campers. ECS is more than just fun and games. It’s a place where campers build new skills, gain confidence, make friends and lasting memories.
COVID-19 Update Regarding Camp for Summer 2020
At this time, our staff is working hard to put together the final touches on our virtual programming. Virtual programming will be posted daily in a private ECS Facebook group, on our webpage and emailed to those interested starting June 1. Our goal is for those interested to be able to do these activities on their own time, instead of setting one time to all meet over Zoom. Videos will be posted by 9 a.m. daily.
If you are interested in taking part in these activities, please send an email to me with the child’s name, the best email to be reached, and if you would like access to the Facebook group, your name on Facebook. We are offering material pick up for each week of activities. Families can pick up materials at Caspe Terrace on Mondays from 9 to 11 a.m. Materials are only available as supplies last, so please be sure to confirm with me your child’s participation.
We hope to be back at Caspe on June 22 and will be in touch with more information in the coming week. We continue to monitor recommendations and guidelines from the CDC and are making every decision with safety in mind. Please know this is not a concrete opening day, it will only be possible once we see a decrease in COVID-19 cases for two straight weeks.
If you have friends who might be interested in participating in our programming, please share this information with them! We are always happy to welcome new families to Engman Camp Shalom, even if it is virtually. Please have them contact me to confirm their child’s participation.
We appreciate your patience and support during this time. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
Best, Anna Zavell, ECS Director email@example.com cell: 515.419.1269
ECS Summer Virtual Programming 2020: June 1 to June 19
Due to COVID-19, ECS is unable to hold camp during Weeks 1 and 2. Since we can’t gather together at Caspe, we are putting together virtual camp! Activities will take place daily, as well as extra activities campers can do on their own time. Stay tuned for a more detailed schedule and information about how you can register and receive materials.
