Second Grade Curriculum

Welcome to our second grade class at Beit Sefer Shalom! Your child will attend school on Sundays from 9:00am-12:00pm. Like all of our classrooms, the second grade curriculum is customized for this age group and organized into the core areas of Jewish education listed below.

  • Basic geography continued
  • Israeli childhood continued
  • Focus on Haifa

  • History through the arts

  • Examples of religious conformity and non-conformity through Jewish history and in children’s lives
  • Hachnasat orchim taught through story of Abraham angels/Shabbat
