Camp Activities

Each week at Engman Camp Shalom offers different field trips and fun themes. The day-to-day of camp life is equally exciting! Thanks to our sprawling Caspe Terrace campus, there are constant opportunities to play sports and games outside as well as enjoy indoor activities like drama and crafts. To see what camp was like last year, check out photos on our Facebook page!

Daily Routine

We start our day in the fresh air, gathering for a flagpole ceremony and songs once everyone has arrived. Every Monday after flagpole, we celebrate Havdalah together. Depending on the day, the morning is filled with a field trip, swim lessons or a rotation of on-campus activities based on your child’s interests. From cooking lessons to kickball, there’s no shortage of things to do. On Friday, we welcome in Shabbat with songs and stories followed by a hot dog lunch.

After snacks and lunch, afternoons are oftentimes another chance to visit a special destination like the Zoo or an amusement park. On especially warm days, we might play on the camp’s 40-foot waterslide!
